How come Accord isn't listed as a Moderator of this forum at the top?

hmmmm

since I can't reply to the other post about splitting the group I will state my opinion here.

First it seems his mind is made up to split a forum he doesn't moderate.

He doesn't own a C Class and won't till the 03's are out.

Third The C sedan guys and the C Coupe guys will just cross over and post twice the normal amount.

Just my 2 cents worth.

I can see the double post now: "Please see the Coupe forum where that was already discussed".

No I am not a moderator on the C Coupe, I mean C Class forum. I made a simple post asking for peoples thoughts on the matter, I gave my opinion, they gave theirs. I see no reason for personal attacks against me.

Benzo, yes I do own a Mercedes Benz.

I don't see the point for this thread.

And few people see the point to the other thread. Maybe it is time to delete both.

I think using the poll we can see how many people will like Accord's idea or not. If most of us think there's a need to have a C class sedan forum, why not just go with the vote. However, personal attack is a bad or evil way to say 'NO' on Accord's suggestions.

just my 2 cents wroth.

why do i feel like we're deciding to unionize or not?

accord, i don't think those were personal attacks (at least not in this thread). more of questions of motive/appropriateness and relevance. so, still a discussion.

i still have to ask, its clear that most members want a single forum. will you respect that and drop the issue (at least for the year 2002)?

Probably beating a dead horse, but splitting the boards would make no sense.

First, even combined, its not really a super-busy board, compared to most other automotive boards. Usually there are less than 10 people present at any given time. There are only a handful of regular posters as it is. Its a pretty tiny board even combined.

Second, the C Sedan board would be dead. You could post a FAQ on 3 or 4 subjects (C v. BMW 3, my key is dead, when should I change the oil, and a couple others) and you would not need an active board at all.

Third, if the boards were separated, I'd have to go through the hassle of crossing over to the Coupe board to give Coupe owners a hard time! I enjoy the current convience of not having to go that extra step!

Accord if you took the time to read all my different posts you will find I am the biggest advocate against personal attacks and if I have thought I have ever offended anyone I have made a public appology.

I find your posts to almost border on threatening if we don't agree with your opinions.
