Question Anyone heard of TAS or TACS in NJ?

My car is going back to the dealership for visit #4 regarding an oil level warning (first time I was told oil was low, second time I was told oil level was too high, third time they replaced a sensor) and visit #3 about a front right headlight that just flickers on and off. When I spoke with the Service Manager today he indicated he was going to open a case with MB and contact the Technician Assistance Center (TAC is what he called it I think). He called back and said someone from that office will be coming to my local dealership to look into my issues.

Has anyone had any experience with this type of referral? I mentioned the lemon law when discussing my concerns and just want to make sure that what I'm being told is on the up and up.

Thanks!

Yes, there are people from MB who come out to the dealerships to look at certain cars and help out with problems that they can't figure out. I don't know about it being called TAC, but certain MB reps do this stuff all the time. There are people they call first to ask for help I guess, but sometimes they send a person.
