I'm somewhat confused...

Let me see if I can get this straight. This situation began when you called the dealership back, 2 months after the original sale, and told them that you car should have come with the C7 package. But since you just noticed it did not, you wanted them to replace the car with another one that had the C7 package? Then dealership then called you back and said they could do that, but they need more money for your trade-in?

I'm just trying to get the whole story...

No, Rick I used the C7 as an example. The dealer called me back after two months and wanted $2K from me. They say that they gave me too much for my trade. Nothing can be done now that I have signed my contract two months ago and it was their mistake. And I used the C7 package as an example. I gave the general manager a scenario, I said what if I bought the C7 and noticed that two months later I never got it, and the response to me by the manager was well you should have made sure of that before the contract was signed and I said well the same applies to the situation now that you are claiming $2K from me for a mistake you made after the contract has been signed. That is the situation. Sorry for any confusion.
