yup, cost was like $60 from clairparts . my dealer wanted $80...

i did a quick search for other wheel locks, but i didn't find anything else. something about the length of the lugbolt being custom sized... if you find anything, post it. i'm sure others would be interested.

as for how it works, there's an adapter - in the pic above, piece in the middle /w the "X " on it. if you look at the top of the lugbolts, there is a wavy pattern that matches. the heads also spin so w/out the adapter, you can't unscrew them.

on the back of the package, it says part number: BQ 6 40 8113

Thanks! I guess that would be the MB factory P/N. I have a co-worker friend (lady) who's C230 salesman is sweet on. She gets a discount on parts, so I'll see what she can get them for.

Hit the C7 Wheels on the curb..It took off 3 - 4 layers of the powered metal coating....I am so pissed off at my self. I got to get a grip on my racy driving...or Syble...or a good secretary to correct my spelling..!! By the way. I hit it pretty lightly...could'nt believe how soft those things are Be Aware!!!!

I believe the only wheel locks you can get at this time is the ones that McGard makes and sells via the dealer. I am not sure if you can get them through McGard now - when I got mine in Jan of this year - you could only get them through the dealer. Also, I am not sure if anyone else is now making wheel locks for the W203.
Part number is BQ 6 40 8113

Yeah...I agree...but I tried the locks that Gorilla locks make and they were too short. They worked on other MB models, but did not on the new W203 C-class. I think I paid $75 for mine. Had no other choice at the time.

MBUSA and McGard have an agreement to restrict sales to dealers only at ridiculous prices and split the profit. There is a way around this. Take one of your lug nuts down to Autozone, Pep Boys, etc. and start comparing to the McGard locks they have in stock. I bet you'll find what you need.

I am assuming you are referring to the lug nut locks and not the steering wheel lock. I got mine from the MB dealer...I thought they were the only ones that made them.

Are you stock? If so, go to the dealer; if not give HRE Wheels in Vista, CA a call; they may be able to help you.

His car look looks sharp and no his wheels don't stick out. His car rides so well, I just ordered the same suspension kit he has.

I'd recommend looking into RAD wheel locks. They're excellent locks, made in Germany.

the dealer told me that their wheel lock only works on stock wheels. So my question is, where can I get wheel lock for Carlsson 19" wheels? Thanks =)

I heard that McGard was no good because they crack or strip easily, but I haven' had any problems with them except that the chrome chips. a lot of people use Gorilla though
