Question about the size of w203 lugs

Hello all. I purchased my 06 c230 sport about 2 weeks ago. I have noticed that the lug nuts on all of the wheels look pretty dull. I would like to get a new set, prob chrome. Does anyone know the size bolt i should be looking for and possibly a decent place to buy them from? I did a search and was unable to find the information I was looking for. Thanks in advance.

do not get chrome bolts. chroming process of these bolts weakens the structure of the metal. most breakage of bolts happens on chrome aftermarket bolts.

As mentioned before:
RadUSADirect.com

I believe they also have little chrome caps that you can put on top if you want the appearance of chrome but don't want to lose the structural integrity as Frank explained.

12x1.5 Ball seat is correct. If I was in your position I would just take one original lug bolt out, measure the shank length and you are good to go.

So what do you guys that get new rims do? You do change your lug nuts right? What do you change them out for?

Also, I want to clarify something. I'm not looking to replace the lug bolts, i'm looking to replace the lug nuts. Not sure if that was clear before so sorry if it sounded confusing.

Would something llike this be bad? - http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/pro...oducts_id=5651 , Whats the difference of getting them chromed, or black, or blue, or red or whatever color people get to suit their tastes? Are all weakend by this process? I have a set on my 350z with 19's on it and I'm not saying it can't happen but so far they are holding up perfectly. I also had a set I got from the tirerack for my enkei's on my accord and they too held out perfectly. Now i'm wondering If i should consider replacing these out. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

to clarify, MB, BMW, AUDI etc european cars mostly use lug bolts, not lug nuts.

I'm not too sure, but I think the more expensive colored lug nuts are anodized instead of chromed.

chrome process cause the metal to become brittle. you can read more here http://74.125.155.132/custom?q=cache...&ct=clnk&gl=us

Hey all. I went ahead and purchased the chrome covers that KickR had informed me about and wanted to show you guys how it looks in case anyone was curious. For $15 I can't complain, but at some point, I'll prob replace the bolts - most likely when I get me a new set of rims. Let me know what you think.

Also, I couldn't figure out how to edit my original post, otherwise I would have put the picutres up there. Sorry.
