wearing eibach pro-kit lowering suspension on w203 and its about 1.2 inch of gap with 17" rims, will it be reduced if i switch to 19" ?

 

Very little. Nothing with the suspension will change. The over all diameter of the 19 wheel/tire combo may be a tiny bit bigger, but it won't be enough to really change the gap very much. The bigger wheel/less side-wall may give the impression of filling up the wheel well a bit more, however.

 

Or, you can go larger wheels and taller profile which would give you a larger overall diameter. This will decrease the gap BUT, change your gearing. I would not recommend doing this.

 

check out trekman's c32, we ride the same springs (eibach pro kit) but he's wearing 19in bremma while i have 17" amg -> his one looks lowerer

 

thats because hes sitting on bigger rims then you of course its going to look different.. 2 good inchs + tire

Not quite but it's close. It's not nearly what the sizes "imply" the difference would be. Your diameter is 24.97" vs his of 25.20".

alright matt, so he gains 1 inch, leaving only 0.2 gap ! it looks an amazing drop

 

It's a gain in overall diameter of less than a quarter of an inch.

 

we are riding the same rims matt, u have the amg suspension while im wearing eibach pro kit, ur drop on the picture looks hot but i think its due to the resolution, tell me really , is it about 2 fingers gap ?

 

Uh.. I don't know. I've never actually tried measuring it. I will when I go down to it later, though. By AMG suspension, you mean the factory suspension, right? Cause my car has the regular suspension that came on it from the factory. No drop.

 

hmm it makes me wonder mate, is it the amg suspension or the avantgarde...

 

look at the elegance model for example, its tooooo ugly with all that gap

 

I don't know about those models.. here in the USA it was Sport or non-Sport. All 2005-2007 C230s were Sport models wearing AMG-styling touches.

 

in europe matt there are currently 3 model types/categories:
classic elegance and avantgarde

leave the classic outside, its a shame for benz

lets go for sport and elegance , ive posted 2 pictures, the 1st one is the one u own i think and the second one is the elegance model , look at the drop-lowering

 

Matt have u checked it out ? also check the height of ur car and tell me , i think it'd be at about 1.2 in

 

btw, is there any possibility to drop the car even lower with my current eibach pro kit ? its about 1.2 inch height
