My opinion is as follows:

You should not start new threads about repetitive topics - you should post this in the wheel thread.
If you insist on creating clutter duplicate threads, at least post a few words with your link.

I personally think they cost too much. You can get better rims for that price.

Also you can get better looking rims for that price.

Uh yeah. The 135 is a little rocket and it's fun, but I don't find it very comfortable. The RFTs suck, can't wait to replace them. I put most of the miles on the C230.

There are a ton of wheel threads. Being new doesn't mean anything.

that wheel thread and HID thread are scary in page numbers... i have asked and asked and nothing.. sometimes a new topic and a new question is not that bad.

half the answers i read here are "STFF" and "dont start a new thread". just answer the question or pm him to help him.

in response to the topic at hand.. i would never buy wheels from ebay. try the classifieds here or a member.

Some of the threads are just a big clutter and threads merged for now reason and makes it difficult to go through.

From the last page I go back 10 pages or so and if I cant find what I need I post. I am not going to waste a few hours going through some threads that were created before my car was even made....

Just my two cents.

true. i understand how aggravating it can be. i've done it. but if you are looking for a certain type of rim, or certain size rim or tire, you can do a search within the rim thread and see if it shows up. and then if nothing, then perhaps post up.

I don't want to throw fuel to the fire but the search feature sucks now. Whatever you type it uses every word as a string instead of using all the words as a string.

Search - HID installation and you will get "HID" "Installation" rather than "HID installation"

I don't know what has happened.

Yes, you can search within the threads. And you should.

Karo - I agree. I hate how it searches individual words rather than phrases.

Everyone cries clutter. Well, this thread is the perfect example of WHY the search function is "hard to use" due to clutter.

+1

You can find like 10 threads on HID (only on the w203 section alone )

I wonder if there is a way to make different tables. (example)

HID
  • Bulb
  • Installation
  • Ballast (did i spell it right?)
Wheels
  • Pics
  • spacers
  • Tires
  • Bolts
Sensors
  • O2 sensor
  • Roof Sensor
  • Window Sensor
Something like this Would clean this clutter up (I know it would be very hard but it has to be implemented or else it's only going to get worse
