How do I search EPC without a VIN?
I'm going ot be putting the '04.5 brakes on my '03 shortly. I HAVE STFF and found part #'s for the disks/pads, but would like to verify in EPC. Anyone know how to search by year/model or some other way?

Could anybody post (or PM) a VIN for an '04.5?
I'm going to be putting the '04.5 brakes on my '03 and would like to verify the part #'s I found by searching this forum. I have access to EPC (free to all in N. America), but it would appear I need a VIN for an '04.5 to search for those parts..... Anyone care to help?

Go on ebay, find the model and year car you want...
VIN's are listed in the auction.
Use that VIN to search. Or get the one the brakes came off?
OK< I just read, you HAVE the pn's but want to verify.
So you go to search by pn WITHOUT vehicle data.
Don't put a vin in.
Put in the pn's (add an A to the beginning, remove the A when pricing on Trademotion sites)
But honestly this is a touchy subject. Go with what you've found on the forums, likely to be more accurate.
EPC can be confusing.
In my case, at once point I was searching on rear brake pn's and it kept talking about the 'sport' package brakes.
Well in the US they're all the same on coupes, non-sport (though I have the C7 Sport package, and so you can see the confusion).
I noticed that more recently they've removed the wrong info from EPC for US, so
they do correct things over time; I'm sure a lot of dealer sold the wrong stuff...
and complained.
Tirerack lists the wrong pads too for Akebono.
The "sport" brakes I think are the ones used on the rear of AMG with ventilated disks.
Just an example.

Yuppers, went on EvilBay and did just that. Looks like the rotor & pad #'s are correct but the actual caliper parts #'s are incorrect(from the suspension thread) ...
