c230 blue tint?
I'm shopping around via AUTOTRADER and I definitely like the Mercedes blue tint that comes with most Mercedes I see. I gave up trying to find a 2007 C230 Sport with BIXenon and the 2007 C350''s i've seen mostly had the BIXENON's but almost 5000. So I'm going to stick with whatever is the best price and mileage but do a xenon upgrade myself. My question is is the Blue tint standard on the C230 or was that some option? Because some cars i see you can definitely see it and some you can't. Maybe it's the camera? I dunno. Any info would be appreicated

All 2005+ C230's are Sport Sedans, so they all have the blue tinted windows.
C320's and C350's have blue tinted glass only if they are the Sport Sedans.
All other cars have normal automotive tempered glass, which gives off a greenish color.

The MB "non-tint" glass is what everyone here is calling "green tint".
Next time you're out, drive next to a white wall and roll down your window halfway. It's a very light green tint. Personally I wouldn't call it tint at all. I always just assumed that's the natural colour of glass in general.

As has been stated - there is no such thing as a "non-Sport" C230 from 2005-2007 in the USA. They are ALL Sport models, and have the blue "tint".
It seems like I've read somewhere that it isn't a tint at all, but built into the window somehow?

The blue glass in the Sport Sedans aren't tinted, they're actually dye'd during the manufacturing process. The glass is made by PPG and it's called Solextra. So yes, it's not really tinted, it's dyed glass.
Normal automotive glass is tempered and the process can make the glass take on a slight greenish color. All "luxury" sedans (some C320's and C350's), C240's and C280's have normal glass.
