^^ that's my bad I must have been cracked out the 7.5 was for the TL and the TL-S is 6.5

That's one amazing kill..6 cars on the TL-S. I think you might even beat me.

Yes. 7.5-7.6 would be more appropriate for a TL Premium of those years, and even then, those numbers are probably easily repeatable. Depending on conditions I'm fairly sure of it, as I had a friend with a 2001 TL premium (225hp/216tq) and it was no slouch. Easily faster than my car and probably the C320 as well.

Do I prefer those cars over these? No. But if I had gotten a good example of my 02 TL, I'd probably not have the Benz today because I very much wanted to love the TL. It just wouldn't let me, I definitely got a lemon. On the whole, it was a very nice, very quick and competent sedan. The 2004-2008 continued the tradition. The new one is perhaps the ugliest car on the face of the planet.

I know this thread is old, but you had no tune with the header? I would think larger headers would kill the low end without tuning.
