CD changer alternative
CD changer alternative
Just a thought for my US friends ...
Ever consider just popping over to Canada and getting the CD changer ? This is especially tempting to those of you living close to a border city. If you live in NY and drop in to Toronto you can
purchase/install the CD changer at an MB dealer for C$1000 which works out to $550 or less in US greenbacks.

Hi Viper, can you tell us which Toronto Canada MB dealer that you are purchasing from for your CD changer. I'm quick interesting on it. Since I'll be going up to Toronto around in the week of the Memorial Day. Thanks for the help !!
i was going to do this when i got my changer and was going to goto toronto for vacation. w/ the canadian rates, it was a lot cheaper.
but i got quotes from 3 toronto merc dealers for 2.5 hours. and i was able to find a local dealer to do it for 1.5 hours. so it sort of came out even.

Hey Young what kind of funny math are you doing ? Came out even ? No way is that possible.
The changer goes for $750 Canadian and various dealers may differ a bit on the time for installation but $1000 total in Canadian currency is still less than $600 in US no matter how you slice it.

Viper, I agree with you that $1000 canadian still is less than $700 US.
