its the white one and just looks more blue compared to my LED...when its on by itself you can tell how white it is, i think those are some of the pics i posted...but ya i love them, and the license plate lights the best! I also completely transformed my intereior to LED as well...unfortunately blew a fuse i think for the one in my glove box...not sure, saw sparks fly when installing and now it doesn't go on, lol

also keep in mind that whenever looking at a lights color temp next to one another and they're not exactly the same, one will look more one color than the other and the difference will be magnified...when looking at it alone it will look more to its true color...

I'm a little concerned that the city light bulbs will have too much "blue" tint to match the OEM 4300K HID light output.
I already bought the bulbs and the seller said they only have the white that has a blue tint to it. If they end up being too blue to match my OEM, I may put them up for sale.
Regardless, it'd be nice to have brighter license plate bulbs again.

yes plus you could always put them in your courtesy lights or something...lol that is if you cant sell them, or while your trying to sell them you can put them in there, thats what I did with an older set of city LED's i bought a year ago. but I agree that they will be too white for 4300k...i think all LED's would be, your bettter off getting PIAA bulbs or something along those lines, aka halogen

Had PIAA Xenon Whites for a LONG time. In fact, those were the first things I put in my car...LOL.

Nope. Before they had these ebay ones available, e1000 was one of the first ones to make it work with resistors soldered into the the 194 LED bulbs. They worked great for a little while, but I think the bulb or the resistor went bad and just hadn't had a chance to pull out the bulb to figure out what went wrong.

Do the city lights you bought have a resistor they provided that's not integrated with the bulb? And are you using that resistor?
I got 2 reistors with the bulbs and not sure if this is just extra or if you just slide this in with the bulb when installing.

On a side note, I figured out that one of the "custom" LED's that e1000 hooked me up with still works, but it just got loose from the bulb socket. On the other bulb, it still works, but the resistor just went bad (I think maybe the solder got detatched).

Oh, okay, cool. I'm gonna install at lunch and I'll try to take a couple pics for everyone to see how they look with the OEM bi-x. Anyhow, if the light output is "too" blue to match my OEM bi-x, I'll maybe put them up for sale for those that want to try them out.

Just a quick update on these bulbs. I took pics on my phone, but the pics came out bad, so I'll have to take some again later on. Nontheless, these are my observations for those that want to try them out:
1) City lights are definitely a much better match to 6000K bi-x or HID than OEM 4300K
2) City lights light output is average to sub-par (not any better than OEM, IMO)
3) License plates are DEFINITELY worth it (just as bright as OEM, but light output is bluer like Lexus).
Now, that said, I'm gonna be keeping these in until I get the other city lights I had working again.
The custom LED's that e1000 hooked me up were definitley WAY better than these as far as light output and match to 4300K OEM bi-x.
For those of you that want to get the city lights, don't get me wrong, they're definitely nice, just not the best to match OEM and the light output isn't any brighter (i.e. if you get them, just get them for the look, not necessarily to have brighter light output compared to OEM).
