some more...the second one is when i decided to move my ipod integration from behind my h/u where best buy put it and install it through the glove box where it was designed to go, plus where room actually exists for it to sit...it had ended up putting too much pressure on my wiring harness and caused my speakers to cut in and out...as of right now i was able to get them all working (including my subs) except for my right rear which i was not aware of until i plut everything back together, needless to say i wasnt about to take it all apart yet again and I couldn't...plus when i take my car in next weekend to MB to claim my dieing speakers on my warranty I don't want the ipod integration to be sitting back there and have them attempt to blame it on me or that that the speakers dont work since it has nothing to do to them cracking and sounding like ish!

also installed the digital HVAC a few weeks ago. LOVE IT!
Put in new LED for city lights and license plate with no splicing, errors, or resistors necessary! they were built in and work great! and they go pretty well with my 6000k philips ultinon bulbs i think although it's impossible to get them exact since its LED compared to gas...

What did the Digital HVAC controls come from? Looks like one out of the W204 chasis. Love the city lights/license plate lights, what bulbs you running in each one, I would be interested to know since you state you receive no errors or resistors.

Oh cool, I didn't know you could get the digital HVAC in the facelift models. Where did you get it from?

the digital HVAC comes in the '07 w203...I found one on ebay bought it and installed it...a few features dont work since they are not available on the '05 w203 like dual directional fan, charcoal, and REST feature i think thats what they are...there are also like 3 versions i think...the last post i made with the link attached is all about finding them and installing them and according to them I am 1/6 that have been successful supposedly. However, it worked flawlessly for me!

the city lights and license plate lights are error free so far! city lights have been in for over a month and the license lights i put in 3 days ago...no flicker or anything...I got them off ebay, its a vendor that sells them for all the models it looks like!

and ya I've been contemplating getting the HID fogs just not sure If I want to go through with all that and I kind of like the yellow fogs...adds a sporty look to it i think

true but then it'd be like paying 150 for light bulbs lol...besides the angle of whcih our fog lights aim really doesnt provide much illumination out in front... from what i can tell when just turning the fogs on by themselves...

all personal preference but I absolutely hate LED interior lights. I find them harsh and unnecessary. If anyone wants to do this however, I will tell you that the interior lights do not throw errors like the exterior ones and are much easier to change out.

ya I have already replaced my interior lights to LED actually, including the courtesy lights below the doors...just still trying to figure out how to get the angled personal lights (next to the dome) to come off...and my vanity bulbs dont work...not sure if its the LEDs or the housing itself. And while changing my glove compartment to LED i think i shorted it out while adjusting the metal lever that controls whether its on or off, cuz it sparked and now it completely doesn't work! so ive gotta find where that fuse is and replace it my guess is! and I like them much more thant he nasty yellow lights indeed. I also didn't pick super bright ones except for the main dome...the rear dome is subtle.

yep...$15 a peice which isn't terribly unreasonable...plus the built in resistors...plus what your saving in time and installation! its just plug and play

yes it is plug and play...no coding...however, no guarantee it will work...search that thread I posted called "new mods" and you can read all about this mod...it ran me somewhere between 100-130...

like I said in your post in the C32 forum, great job!

I'm jealous about the digital climate control...

$60 is nothing compared to what Eric (e1000) and I have spent on lights (hell, license plate lights) for these damn cars

let's just say, I had enough left over from the tests with the C230 to do led plate lights AND interiors for both the M3 and M5.
