Have any new C-class owners been victim of MB's latest recall?

This won't affect any new C class owners because the recall is for 1998 and 1999 C class which is a totally different vehicle. The current C class is new for 2001 model year.

has there been any recalls for the 2001+ C's ... is there a website that we can monitor this?

It your make, model and year are not present there - there have been no recalls for it.
