Nope cant fit in the CLK. The clk has dual big style conectors, the C CL and S seem to have 1 small connectr

The new CLK mite have the single connector..

Now Ill need to see about the fitment later today.

I ll let you all know how it turns out

Once again, I got it on ebay. I got it by mistake, the seller sent it to me, im waitin for a refund but he aint respondin so ill keep it. Its worth a hell of a lot more than a regular c cluster anyways
Have you tried disassembling the cluster? You might be able to fit it into the C-Coupe frame once its free of the cluster housing.

Nothing a dremel and a steady hand couldn't fix!

Looks cool, BTW!

when business was slow at the computer shop, we used to see who could unsolder a serial connector and re-solder a new one on the fastest, same with parrallel. I never had one fail. You can take off the chipset as well on some junk MOBO's. It all depends on how they are built.

Oh, I see... The last time I used a soldering iron was when there was a need to change IRQs on an ISA serial board Close enough

Are the lights LED surface mount? Get a picture if you can. We might be able to do a color change!

Instructions?

Can someone provide the instructions on just how to remove and replace the C-coupe instrument cluster? I want to open mine up and take a look at it myself and see if I can change the color of the stock display...

Get a coat hanger. Cut it in half so you have 2 long metal rods striaghtened.

Stick one in each hole on the side of the cluster. This will pop it out you might have to fiddle with the rod to get it in the right place but it ususally just press in and it pops.

So I powered her up . Boy it makes the car look lite years more expensive and luxurious, now if only it fit the contour of the hole correctly :p

I won the dam cluster for 31 bucks, i think i got a good buy, but here is some pics, as u can see it lights up and works fine. But i will need to shave some off the left and rite to fit it in the hole, but this wasjust to see if it will work. I dont think Id go drivin around with it, cuz the miles on this cluster is different from mine.

Still its so cool to see that they are compatible.
can i see the pictures? i cannot view them
