Anyone here running BFG G-Force Sport tires

How many miles you have on them and what's your opinion on wet/dry traction and NOISE. How did they compare against other tires you had. Would you recommend them?

These tires are cheap and reasonable...

I've talked to tire techs and they say the tire is an okay tire; but still a long ways off from the Michelins.

I've got around 20,000 miles on mine, and they need to be replaced soon. It doesn't seem that Michelin still sells its Pilot Primacy tire in the size I want anymore, so I may be stuck with these BFGs or the Michelin PS2s as my option for future sets of tires.

I would say they have decent wet traction, good dry traction. The tire is probably considered to be one of the high-grip tires that has decent grip but doesn't give a lot of warning before it lets go.

They're actually slightly grippier than the Pilot Primacy tires that came with the car, much shorter tread life, and overall slightly noisier than the Michelin Pilot Primacy tires that came with the car originally.

I'd recommend these tires if you're on a budget. Another tire to consider in this range is the BFG g-force Super Sport A/S, these are the newer tires and are supposedly a better tire in general.

On a BMW 528i, if you have the 235/45 ZR17 tire, I would go with the Michelin Pilot A/S, this is a Z rated tire with 400 treadwear, supposedly excellent cornering, excellent wet/dry traction, and has a 40,000 mile warranty from Michelin! They're a bit more expensive, but they'll last twice as long and they're probably better tires.

I had a stagard set of 18s and 19s on my srt-6... they were ok. Looked mean and had good grip, but were pretty noisy and had a short life.

I have a staggered set with about 5000 miles on them. Not the best or worst tire I have ever had. For the price if I get 20-25,000 miles out of them I'd be happy. Noisier than Michelin but much quieter than the BFGs I have on my 16V with the aggressive tread.

i pretty much agree with what patrick y said. I think its a good daily driver tire. Wet and dry traction is ok. Its turning response doesn't seem as good as the hankook evo 12 i just bought. If your into sprinted driving on the twisties..the hankook evo 12's are better.

Haven't tried the Hankook tires. But I tried a Subaru legacy a while ago with Toyo Proxes (on aftermarket wheels) and I was utterly surprised by the comfort and grip of those tires. Ironically, the Toyo Proxes also had decent treadwear too, as they survived about 40,000 miles of rather aggressive driving.

the g-force super sport's A/S lasted a long time on my CLK500 even with agressive driving and you cant match the wet traction of them
