P0237 code/Lack of power

The last time I got this code (P0237 Turbosuperboost Sensor A Circut Low Input) the dealer said a hose popped off. This was shortly after the repair of the PCV hose.

So when I got the code again recently, I assumed some hose popped off again. I looked around and seems as though all hoses are secure. Is there anything else I should be llokng at?

I have a 2005 C230 with the M271.

Are you sure that there is not a crack or split in a pressure hose that only opens up under boost? How is the car running? You say lack of power - when - high RPM, pull away?

When you press on the accelerator pedal, the car has sluggish acceleration, especially getting on the freeways or passing, or going uphill. I still got decent gas mileage on a recent trip of 600 miles (29.3 mpg). Even around town, the car gets passed by little Daewo cars...that sucks...

Maybe this is captain obvious, but it doesn't sound like the supercharger is giving any boost at all. I'd think there was a leak somewhere (like you say), hopefully not supercharger failure.

2005 c230
Hi All
Picked up a 2005 c230 with 101k miles for a pretty good price. Need some work which Im willing to put in. When I bought it, couldnt hear any SC whine/noise/life at all. And very slow acceleration at all speeds. Smooth idle, starts/fires right up. No smoke from tail pipe. CELs were p0237, p0410, and p0171.
After purchased, did the recirculation reset via STAR for the SC, Cleared the codes, drove and at mild to moderate throttle, still sluggish but no CEL. CEL light only came back on after full throttle run and only the P0237 code. I removed and carefully checked the supercharger hose that goes to the EGR valve, but it was snug and I saw zero cracks/rips/tears at all.

Any suggestions on what areas to focus on next for troubleshooting? Really seems like there must be an air/vacuum leak somewhere based on the CEL light not coming on until I went full throttle.. And its repeatable. If I reset the CEL, it stays off and only comes on again after I hit full throttle.

Tips? Goal is to fix this as cheaply as possible myself. Thanks.

Update: Still no fix. Replaced both of the boost related sensors (one measures atmospheric pressure, located near front of engine, before air enters the airbox and hits the MAF, the other measures air pressure post MAF) and no change.
Then removed and cleaned throttle body well. No change. Did a smoke test. No signs of any vacuum leaks. Replaced the MAF. No change. Replaced air filter. No change. Replaced spark plugs. No change. Filled up with full tank of premium and techron. No change.

Upon more observation, noticed the following. After clearing the code, the car may run well for a few miles. Perfectly smooth, nice pull, perfect idle, etc. And NO cel. What triggers the CEL every time, is at moderate throttle when accelerating from a stop or slow speed, right at about 2700 rpm, there is a slight 1/2 second hiccup. Thats when the CEL gets triggered, and then the car continues to run totally fine.

WHat could be triggering that hiccup? And that hiccup has been there before I replaced anything, and remains after I replaced all the above.
