Odometer reading 999999 km

Odometer reading 999999 km
I changed the batteries in my key/remote and since then the odometer is reading 999999 km for the total km reading. It does not roll over to 0. The trip meter works fine and records the distane travekled correctly. Km to next service does not decrease either. Any suggestions please.

the only time i have heard of a problem like this was when someone put a instrument cluster in and it screwed up the odometer. i don't believe that by changing the batteries in the key this happened. something else happened either you were messing with something or a computer is screwed up.
