Digital Climate Control Part Numbers?
Currently own a Coupe and wanted to upgrade to a Digital Climate Control. Was wondering if the Digital Climate Control differ from a Coupe and a Sedan. I was searched but could not find, the part number for the working Digital Climate Control and or part numbers which did not work. Any help pleasE?

The only thing that differs is the shape pre and face lift, i have heard that for the face lift there is two Digital Climate Control with diferent part numbers...but i haven´t found out why

Here are a couple that I have used in the past. It is hit or miss on the digital climate control working or not. You will just have to try, but there are no guarantees that it will work. There is no difference in the shape between coupe and sedan.

I have posted a lot of information on this topic in both this forum, and the w203 AMG forum...the WIS Retro-Fit guide will also tell you all you need to know...On the Post-face lifted models I know they are built date specific, along with sub-system component pre-requisite needs...I am not sure about the Pre-Face lifted chassis cars.
And again - there seems to be a hit and miss with this...mine plugged right in and worked! However on STAR DAS it does show missing step controllers and other FULL Climatronic devices...

The 05 85 was what I ended up using in mind. I don't remember the source exactly now ( I read so many threads on that ) but I believe I remember reading that for some reason the Coupes were not picky about which one went in it, that they seemed to be happy with either. Mine worked first try...

It gives instructions for adding the sun-sensor that goes with the digital along with another sensor that checks for impurities in the air.

Head out with your Torx 20, and flat blade and get it installed. Make sure to try all of your settings before putting everything back.
