Songs with MB in lyrics
Benzomontery's (sp) latest signature had me thinking of songs that mention MBs. I'm trying to gather a list. I'll start off with 2:
Fresh Prince- Summertime: "riding around in your jeep or your benzos, or in your Nissan stting on lorenzos"
Pink's latest single: "I'll be lookin stylish in my Mercedes benz"

Dont forget ...most people dont think when rappers say "Rolling in my 6"....that really means "driving in my mercedes benz CL600"...okay

Which is of course ironic, b/c its a NEGATIVE reference in Hotel California.
"Her mind is Tiffany twisted, she's got the Mercedes bends" is an obvious reference to California-style shallow materialism, i.e., materialism is like a disease that warps the mind (mind twisted by Tiffany, the "bends" is what a diver gets when he surfaces too quickly).
Don Henley must laugh every time Hotel California is quoted as being positive for Mercedes! Or at least be puzzled, like Springsteen was puzzled with the RNC wanted to use "Born in the USA" as their election anthem.

There is a Swedish song called: "Mercedes Benz". It's about a guy who is willing to give his Lamborghini avay, allow someone to shoot his dog, torure his cat, let somone spend all his money on a saturday night AND take his wife, just as long as nobody touches his Mercedes. This song was a HUGE hit here in Sweden about 10 years ago. Did I mention we didn't have a hit-song here involving a Volvo or Saab?
