Got Rear Ended
Got Rear ended 
According to the body shop, $2500 in damage....
The other persons insurance is covering it...
However, they promised me a "Comparable car" and I got a 2007 Pontiac G5...

lol hope your car can get fixed quickly and right. do you have a pic of before? do you know what they are replacing doesn't really look like it was that bad. enjoy the g5 you will learn to love your c class all over again.

good luck with your car, but at least you didnt get a chevy cobalt, i got that as a rental when someone rear ended me. I was so happy when i got my car back lol

Perfect opportunity to help the autobody shop find some "cost cutting" after market parts... like, uh, maybe a body kit? I've found that after an accident, if you can find aftermarket parts that you like more than OEM, and they are the same price or less, you can get away with an upgraded car. Maybe not in your case, since it was only the rear bumper cover. But good luck and enjoy that rental!

G5? FAIL! I had a 2009 G6 for a week.. oh it was epic. What a joke. Felt like it was assembled at gun-point.
I'm surprised that's just $2,500 in damage, actually. Looks like more than that!

who is renting the car the insurance company or the body shop? i know that my insurance company will give me up to $75 a day for a rental so if i ever have an accident i will take the cash and rent a decent car.
and a cobalt or g5 lol the only gm cheap car i would drive is the g8 gt.

I actually REALLY love the sync.. I t works great with my iphone and bluetooth and what not... And the voice commands are pretty good too.

Terribly sorry man, last month somebody rear ended my 04 350z on the highway, totaled. Keep your head up, at least you don't have to pay, I also know how much that sucks.

few months after i got my w203 my neighbor backed into me and it was like 2400 in damage lol but his insurance paid... i hated having my car in a body shop tho.. no one cares about ur car the way u do.. but i like that there is online updates on ur car lol.. i visited the body shop like everday since it was walkin distance to me
