Picked up the Wider Evolution (C7) wheels and tires
Just picked up from the dealer the wider Evo (C7) wheels 17" diameter, 8.5" wide.
They mounted the 255/40/ZR17 Michelin Pilot Sports on them and the whole package looks quite intimidating.
I also found the wheels i am looking for. The Carlsson's. There is a place i found in calgary have them. I am Going to look at them this weekend. They are called Tunerworks. Very cools guy's from Calgary.
Anyways Enjoy your new wheels, i bet they looks SHARP.
Tires: 2 * 410CAD (270USD)
Installed and balanced by dealer as part of the deal.
Can you give us a breakdown on the prices you paid?
I'll wait till spring before I use these.

Basically I already have the 4 C7 wheels which I'll keep using on the front. The wider ones will go to the rear for a staggered setup.

BTW, this was what I was hoping to achieve too

With this setup, what hits the curb first: rim or tire?

Don't forget about pictures
Although I'm not sure if you can use 10mm - may be to much (it makes an equivalent of a 275mm tire).
