Any modified C180K/C200Ks out there?

Hello everyone -

Just wondering if there are any modified C180 Kompressors of C200 Kompressors out there - It's the most popular car in Australia, and the most affordable.

Specially wondering if anyone has done any engine modifications, and what the result of that was.

Cheers!

(I know there's a aftermarket thread - but I want to see what's been done to the C180/C200s..

Hiya

In Perth Aus, have a w203 045 C200K. Mods I know of is a dual twin carlsson exhaust with headers. Have rolling 19inch with a Wald Bodykit some pics attached. Had it for about a year have upgraded the grill to 3 slat recently and have a customised Pioneer, Sounstream stereo system.

Hi mate, I think it's not worth it to modify the engine. I have done a little engine modification last year. I put kleemann boost kit (K-box, pulleys, air filter, belt) and kleemann headers. I ended up getting pissed off because the VN commodore still could beat me far away. Also I just got my licence back due to speeding 257Km/h in todd road port melbourne

My advise is it would be better just keep your W203 engine standard coz you're not gonna race on the road. especially nowadays there are plenty cops out there. Just remember your car is Mercedes-Benz, not Holden or Ford.

1999 CLK320 (sold), 2007 C230 SS (gone), 2000 Grand Marquis, 2011 CR-Z, stay tuned...
Boehmz, your car looks great! I like that style wheel. Your car seems like it rides very high in the front. It looks almost higher than the American models.

Mods to C180k or C 200k

Howzt guys. With regards to modifyng a C180/200 k, I would aslo be keen on suggerstions. I live in Durban, KZN, South Africa. Im not quite interested in taking on super cars, or v6s etc. But I would like a bit more power without interfering with the motor too much. My hassle that I have are the arrogant Golf GTi drivers. Im a rep, and I travel a lot. Often when Im in a hurry, these GTi drivers, think that Im racing them!!! How stupid. Anyway, just once, Id like to surprise these buggers. I was told, that an engine management system, KNN filters, and a midified exhaust may do the trick. Any ideas? Tx guys....
