w203 clutch replacement
Hey guys haven't posted in a while. Just interested in what kind of clutch kits are being bought as replacements for those of us manual trans owners. My car seems to be doing well so far but will definitely need clutch replacement in the near future. I am at 130,000mi so far and do intend on keeping the car past 200k if she holds up. I did a little research and came up with this http://www.ebay.com/itm/BECK-ARNLEY-...ht_1206wt_1185
Any input? I do all the work on my cars myself...and yes I have pulled many transmissions.

anyone? I will probably go with the beck arnley kit from rockauto.com priced at 470$ Same as the one on the ebay site above just a more reasonable price from a more reputable source.

It's of interest to me, but it will be a while (I'm at 63K). I hear that Beck Arnley do good reproductions so that would probably be a good choice.

Yeah, they do the job fairly well... Just interested to see if anyone on this forum has tackled this job with any outside product themselves... guess not too many

MT6 W203s aren't the most rare ones, but they seem to be a long shot from being common. I thought it was interesting that they use a circumferential slave cylinder. You better believe I would change that with the clutch!

Out Of Control!!
I had mine changed, but for another OEM, about 20k ago. I do wish there were a decent aftermarket option that had a little more holding power. A lightweight flywheel would be nice, too!
