to those with schatz exhaust tips
i just installed Schatz exhaust tips on my C-Sedan, fits well, and is very close to the bumper, just wondering, if the heat from the tips would not "heat-up" the rear bumper's paint resulting in possible paint damage?
any experience with this product, and its possible effect on the rear bumper paint?

If had them for 3 months and they literally are touching the rear lip and they haven't caused any paint damage. When they installed my tips initially they looked crooked like that C320. I had to convince the shop guys to fix it(he told me it was a slight of vision
). The only problem you will have w/the tips is that smart asses are going to say "your muffler is disconnected", which honestly it does kind of look like that

i have my tips for a week now, but im still quite divided between keeping it, and removing it for good. sometimes it looks good, sometimes not. it does seem disconnected when viewed from certain angles, but sometimes....it does look good with my 18wheels. confusing!
