is it just me? or dont you just love it when you have a nice day and you spend a good part of the day just cleaning the car inside and out, and the sun just shines on it. then you start thinking to your self wow i love my car. lol

Speaking of car washes, the best ones are done by yourself. Unless you take it to get detailed, but you miss that valuable bonding time!

lol funny thing about pewter... looks the same washed or dirty. and silver wheels tend to get "color matched" over time.

That's me. But my C230 has good days and bad days, maybe it's just me? Some days it seems to have rattles that it doesn't normally have, and some days it seems slower than usual. My cars stay inside with a temp controlled garage at 70F year round. I was cleaning out the garage the other day and I left the Benz outside (forgot) and the next morning it was 38F and the car was not happy. It was kind of creaky and rough for the first few minutes more so than any of my past cars have ever been in cold weather.

Oh well. I'm at 66,200 and it isn't giving me any trouble in spite of the fact I push it to its limits regularly. Whether I'm driving in a spirited fashion, or it's hauling 5 adults, or it's plowing down dirt trails like an SUV - it is a tough machine.

Yes, I love my car. 2007 c230 Mars Red Sport with manual transmission. It has 66K miles on it and it looks and drives like it was new. It really turns heads, even when "dirty". I wash it myself practically every weekend. It is such a relaxing and therapeutic thing to do.

I was about to wash my w203 about 20mins ago, But its Hella cold out here so I just cleaned the rims for now. But I love washing it when the weather is nice. And then when its time to dry open up all the doors and play some music. Ahh good times, But its almost winter.

I too always wash my car by hand, never any auto car washes for the benzo. I too also enjoy washing it, except for when I come across a new scratch or imperfection in the paint, or a rock chip, that part of washing and inspecting my car I don't like!

I wash my car every week then once it's time for interior I usually get lazy and skip it (try not to). I've been in your shoes. The car looks completely different. Has a unique glow to it. I have to admit I love the smell of Armorall leather gel. Makes the car smell brand new.

Im with you having a clean car just makes you happy.

I wash mine every week (sometimes more) and wax and vacuum it at weekly intervals. I like it shiny and dirt free!

Haha, so true. I noticed that on mine. I started a topic somewhere asking about a suggestion to paint rims. Somebody said to paint them the color of the car and I thought to myself, Ill just let them get dirty and theyll match the car LOL

I love how the silver never looks terrible when dirty, but when you clean it... it's just amazing. The front wheels drive me nuts though... sometimes I wipe those down in b/w washes just because I hate seeing them dark.
