2007 C230 Sport
New Proud Owner in So.Cal
Just got me a 07 c230 w/ 36k miles. Just wanted to drop a post to say hi. It took me about an hour to find out how to freakin use the fog lights! Oh was wondering... how many cats does this car have? i'm actually very new to the whole euro car scene but learning... if there is any meets hope to see you guys around!

Welcome. The M272 engine has 2 real Cats. One on each bank with an O2 sensor on each side of each Cat. The other things are resonators. There is really no such thing as a secondary Cat.

yeah i'm actually thinking about deleting the resonator... i was wondering.. is there any front lips for this car? it says it only fits the AMG front but it looks very identical with the bumper i have now =/ any imputs.. and know any vendors here that do black vynl roof?

Your car does have the AMG bumper, so the lip would fit. With res delete it wont be very noticable. I recommend an exhaust.
There are soo many mods out there. Before anything start with wheels. Wheels change the look of a car big time.

One of the forum members painted those (C7?) wheels black, looked pretty sick, though he also had a black roof, and probably some other vinal/blacked out items, like a grill.

too many people have black wheels! lol i'd say see how long you can keep it stock cause you have a super clean c there. looks hella classy.

Don't worry about the drop. Car is fine as it is. For some reason the 07 c230 looks way hotter than the 05-06. I think it's the wheels. I agree with howard keep it stock cause it looks too beautiful to touch :-)
