230k wont start cranks an cranks but wont catch???
sooo i was coming home from the gym and the red warning voltage/alternator warning came up... my heated seats started blinking...went to the hidden menu on the command and it said my voltage was 10.8...turned off the heat and the heated seats and the system... an my voltage went up slightly i make it home and keep the car running...while i run inside to change so i could take it straight to the dealer...5 minutes later i come out side an the cars dead as a doornail...i try to jump it and it wont jump...so i let it sit for a while, an try an jump it again..nuthing i replaced the battery with a brand new one from wal mart $75 later and still the same thing....now 3 days later i need my damn car on the road again the hooptie isnt cutting it..it acts like it ran outta gas...just keeps trying to crank but never turns over...no cel, just a damn srs light that magically came on after the car died.. alternator??? i have the monster systemmm [(2) jl w7's ]

WTF. Charging System malfunction does not mean you need to replace the battery! I also hope that you did the battery replacement correctly.. otherwise you may have messed other things up. Sounds like you have an alternator problem primarily.. past that, definitely sounds like the driver needs to be replaced.

sorry i was tired long day at work yesterday. my battery was measuring 9 volts with a mulimeter when the car was cold. hence the replacing of my battery. the car was completely dead when i did my battery swap...negative terminal first then connected the positive. however, it did the same thing as before. im thinking the alternator also...thanx for the replies...
