Rear Brakes

Hey guys, I decided to limit my spending on brakes and I have a rather odd question. Is the following combination OK?....

EBC Redstuff Pads
Zimmerman Rotors

Should I not cheap out on rotors?

This is for the rear only.

Also, is it ok to use different pads for the front (say I wanted to use Yellow for the front instead of red)?

Thanks for the help!

tires and brakes are two things i would never cheap out on from my limited knowledge i don't think it matters if you use different pads on different axles. i know others have reviewed Zimmerman rotors on here just can't remember if they liked them or not. since i don't have the sport brakes i just used oem parts to save me time and they were pretty cheap anyway so i will live. Zimmerman are decent rotors. I had them all the way around on my old 5 series BMW and they held up well, as in no premature warpage or wear.

I am currently using Akebono low-dust pads on the rear of my wagon, but they do not make them for the front, so had to go with Texar/Pagid in front. Works fine, but i hate my front wheels turning black in a week....

OK.
What kind of mileage could I possibly get from this combination for an easy, normal driving style?

I can't speak for the rotors, because mine are stock. However- I have redstuff pads and SS brake lines. I love the pads. The squeaked a tad until broken in, and after that- they've been fine. I wouldn't worry too much about the rear rotors- the rears don't do much of the braking anyway.
