Check Third Brake Light Message
Hi I got a message when driving back home "Check Third Brake Light" message and shown in Malfunctions list, but this went away when I switched ignition off and then back on again, I also asked my wife to check whether all three brake lights were coming on when I pressed the brake pedal and she confirmed that all were on. should I worry about this problem now?

Interesting i would say not to worry about it if you confirmed it is working. if it happens again i would at least check the connection but it is way to much trouble to do if it just happened once.

yeah i think it won't come on unless all of the leds are out that is what i was told at least. you would have to open the trunk and remove the liner to get to it. that is why i said unless the error comes on again i would ignore it lol.

Mine has been telling me to check my left break light and the left reverse light is on when both are working correctly. I've figured as long as it's working then I might has well not worry about it either.

This usually happens if the bulb itself is lose or if there is corrosion on the bulb or socket contacts. You can clean it up with an eraser or some high grit sand paper if its really bad.
