c240 tein springs
Since I bought my c240 months ago, I am not hapy whenever I see my car. This is due to being too high and having frosted headlights. The front fender-tire gap is 4.5 fingers and rear is 2 fingers.
I've done a lot of research and I decided to go for the TEIN S-TECH lowering springs which will drop the front by 2.3' and rear by 1.2'.
Finally I've installed the crystalights headlamps and the springs!
1. Front - from 4.5 fingers tire-fender gap, to 2 fingers w/c
is approx 2.5 inches drop
2. Rear - from pad #1 to pad #4 (to compensate the 1.2' drop of the
springs maintain thus, maintain orig height of 2 fingers) the
springs only made the car a bit firmer
My friend has a 2007 c230 sport version. Side by side my car is lower by 0.25 inches and suspension feel is a bit softer than his car.
Overall I am very satisfied with TEIN. Next upgrade would be rims =)

MBWorld Fanatic!
I never realized just how high the pre-facelift cars sat. I always looked at my C230 and scratched my head at why anyone would want it to sit any lower.
