Help, c240 wont start
Help. This morning, I dropped by an independent dealer to check the color of my tranny fluid. Upon inspection, it was on the low side so the mechanic topped off my transmission fluid. Drove it for a mile and stopped to load up gasoline. When I started the car, CEL came on and it took like 4 secs to start. So I drove it to my school which is 40 miles away with CEL on and nothing different in while driving it (CEL on). When I arrived, turned the engine off then started it, CEL came off. everything is normal and drove home (40miles again) nothing unusual.
As I arrived home, I had a quick dinner then wanted to go to a supermarket.
I started the car, and it wont come to life. Tried it 7 times, it cranks strong so its not the battery? would any of you guys know what the problem could be?
Am freaking out. MB is not a reliable car

yeah, got it in http://www.autohausaz.com/ Bosch brand and its on sale from $132 down to $40.81
Once I get it, am going to let someone to install it. From the CPS thread, its hard to install it. Maybe 25-35 for installation is pretty good, what you think?

Yeah, This morning I wanted to check out and see the CPS. I couldnt see it...Will let a mechanic do it...
BYW, my car is okay for two consecitive days, no problems whatsoever, just a day of problem (monday). I trust the OBD II scanner. Will replace the CPS once the package arrives. Hopefully tom morning
P.S. Engine is M112. CPS code is PO335 (from OBD II scanner)

Yes - once they give trouble once they don't get better - Only a matter of time before total failure.
You are wise to replace immediately. Better than getting stuck at the roadside.

Finally I got the sensor today. I hope My mechanic will be available tom morning. Installation is $35 bucks only.
Anyway, just an update, 4 days straight the car is okay, no problems. Did the ODB II scanner reset did the job? no need to chage the sensor asap? what do you think?

The CPS situation was also similar for me. At first, my car only stopped starting once every 3 weeks, but as it got worse, it happened a lot more often. When it really became bothersome was when it would stop every 30 minutes. I would have to wait for the engine to cool down before it would start again, which would be about 1.5 hours. You should just change it as a pre-caution.. it isn't fun to be stranded

Part installed. The owner of the shop increased the installation fee to $95 from $35. It took them 1.5 hours. Car pulls better, smoother and hope it gonna be more fuel efficient
