c240 from 16's to 18's

Hi, I am planning to change the rims of my c240 pretty soon.

My OEM rims are 16's and offset is +37. Width is 7

Question is:
I want to put in the 18's of the 2009 c350 AMG. Offset of these rims are +50 for front (8 width) and +54 for the rears (8.5 width).

Will these rims fit my car? I really like the style of the 18's in the AMG sport package of the c350 2009 model

thanks

I'm too sure but I think the front wheels would rub againt your brake calipers with that high of an offset. but if you want those you can get some replica ones with a lower offset. Didnt know if you wanted staggered or not but heres where you can get a set of replica ones http://www.mercedesbenzwheel.com/c-c...pe-mbz-71.html

You need wheels between ET28 & ET 37 on a 203 or you will need spacers which are not ideal. You also have to consider how much you value comfort. Don't listen to those who say lower profile tyres don't effect ride quality - They do.

I had stock ET37 X 7" X 16" with 225/50/16 instead of stock 205/55/16 on my car. I've just changed to AMG replicas ET32 X 8" X 17" with Michelin 235/45/17 PS2's (245 at this offset touches the standard front strut - with Koni yellow or similar you can get away with it because they have a larger dimple in the strut) - was going staggered but decided I wanted to be able to rotate.

The car has given up a little in ride comfort but is still most acceptable with the PS2's which are a pretty soft ride tyre with soft sidewalls.

Any time you go below 45 profile tyres in my experience on Mercs you start compromising ride comfort quite severely. Some don't mind this & that's fine. Just be aware of it.
