so i am at 142,150 miles. my car is driving me crazy though, the door lock problem is back so i guess i will have to replace the dam thing. oh well i have the cash to do it know so at least i don't have to live with it. will spend tomorrow calling around to see who will do it the cheapest. unless it works fine tomorrow which will drive me crazy and make me not want to drop money into fixing it. can't wait till i get to 155k because i will be doing so much work to my car. new shocks, rims, paint, windshield can't wait.

two reasons. Cash flow issue at the moment. Best Buy geek squad only pays so much lol. But i can say one thing no one can I LOVE MY JOB. But i don't really have any bills to pay so i can afford to work there i need job experience and in this economy i took what i could find but have to go back to school in the fall only did one year at Community college and could not stand it any more need to find something i enjoy.
want to build a new computer my old P4 3.2 ghz is not cutting it running w7 ultimate lol. has 3gb dd2 667 an old x800 gto2 graphics card running two monitors and has problems running youtube videos. i wonder if having skype, outlook, ftp management software, dvd decrypter, along with firefox twice with 15 -20 tabs each, IE open twice with 10 and 5 tabs . lol my poor computer does not like all that open at once lol. oh almost forgot Windows media player lol. so my new computer will cost about 1500 for the parts i will put it together core i7, dual nvidea graphics cards have not decided on model, raid 1 or 0? dual 1tb main HDD's, 6gb ddr3, and some other random stuff. lol

and once my car gets it's first high mileage award it deserves to be lavished. I will also hopefully one the lottery so i can afford to do everything lol like i said new rims, repaint, and any other maintenance my baby needs. i love being single i can poor all my extra money into my computer and car what a life. god i need a women lol

Right. When I ask something of my computer, I expect it to do it immediately. No need to build it.. it worked right out of the box.

Good luck with that after that post, since needing a "women" means you need more than one. I'm not the best expert on girls, but do they find that attractive?

What you need is a close gay guy friend. Not a guy who THINKS he is a woman, just a normal guy who happens to be gay. We have fleets of hot single women with us at almost all times. Trust me.

lol yeah don't know anyone gay that is in my age group lol. i guess i need to hunt for a gay guy instead of a woman then find the woman lol. every girl i have liked seems to always do something right before i ask her out that stops me dead in my tracks. One asked me for advice how to ask a guy out lol. another asked me to give her advice on what to get a guy for Christmas (i didn't know she had a boy friend) and that last one i can think of right know told me she would miss me when she moved to California. And the one girl i actually got graduated HS 1 year before me and moved away to school. But yeah i am always the (Friend) lol oh well like i said for now i am happy that way but really need to go away to college to have some fun.

lol i love a good teen movie because i never did anything crazy in HS. Ok well crazy compared to other classmates. i didn't total a car while smoking (not Cigarettes) while drunk coming back from a party at the river. and no that was not one guy that happened at least three times the same exact thing. i also never bought prescription drugs in government like two students did almost every day during class lol. I also never decided to drink beer every day at lunch like lots of my fellow students lol. Good times i miss HS so much BTW i went to one of the best HS around the least amount of problems in my whole area. i love who stupid the staff was they never caught on to the beer in school or drugs or my favorite the no cell phone policy lol what a joke. actually i got permission to have my laptop in all my class so i would either play GTA or suff the web in most of my classes.

I just saw this. Building a computer is fun but very expensive because you pick what you want in it If you want something basic not worth the time and effort and the finger cuts but if you want a crazy high powered beast then you have to build it. I'm cutting down on my computer habits everyday something new comes out.

The SLI sounds great and 6 gig is weaksauce push it to 8 and get a solid state hard drive. My buddies laptop runs sick fast with that but then again the hard drive costs an arm and a leg.

Good Luck building the PC it's a lot of fun.

RAID? Depends if you need space. If not then 1 if you do then 0. 0 faster but if one fails then both disks fail. RAID 1 if one fails the other runs because it mirrors.

I know 2TB came down to 150 cant go wrong with 4tb for 300.

yeah i looked into just buying one but could not find something i could live with. well for the ram 6gb from my understanding is good because it is triple channel 3 2gb chips. so 2 4gb chips would not be as fast i might be wrong no ones perfect but that was my understanding. either way i don't need more than 4gb max any way so 6 is already overkill. as for the raid i don't know if i want speed or redundancy have not decided honestly though i don't need either. i would love a ssd but as you said cost is outrages but we shall see. since i work for bestbuy geek squad i get to be a member of intels retail edge program. a couple times a year they give really nice discounts on intel products. they had a 64gb ssd last time i think for next to nothing so i am watching that closely. i will keep you updated on the build i have built about 5-10 computers and worked on way to many so i pretty much know what i am doing. but i always want to learn more so that is another nice thing about building my own vs buying one.

i am actually good i went to a Microsoft convention and got a copy of win7 ultimate for my desktop which will be demolished once i build my new one. then i have win7 pro for my old ibm t43p rocking a 2.26ghz pentium m with 2gb ram and a ati fire gl v3200 lol.

Id wait on the i7 for the price to come down, just slap some more ram and a faster sata drive in your current rig for now, firefox is a ram *****, I have about 14 windows or tabs open on top of our server, ftp, p2p tunnel, every office app, filters, sniffer software, gps monitoring software, google earth, PS, FW, Flash, and all sorts of crap and Im doing it on a Core 2 E8400 with 3gbs of ram, quite well.

I admit a P4 is a fat slow pig to a core 2 but, Id def hold off till about 3 or 4 months for the i7 to come to a normal level. Also go big on ram esp if your doing win 7 with a 64 bit OS, my home PC I have a full 16 in and it can go to 32!

Also why the need for SLI cards? Do you game? Im on itegrated graphics and it handles the very light PS duty quite well (work is cheap they wont spend any money on crap I want, and im the "Director of Information Technology and Security" for crying out loud. Being on a budget is lame, but win server 2k10 more important then 2 30" displays and a fancy work station for me lol. Im on 2 20"

LOL fairlakes i actually got hired there but the managers were being idiots so i took another offer i had in Vienna. smaller store but the people there are awesome and it only takes 5 minutes to get to work vs 30-1hr lol.
