Missing part of my cabin air filter

Missing the bottom part of my cabin air filter.
I bought my car used so I dont know when or where this part went. Its just gone. My, nice carbon impregnated, cabin air filter hangs under the top half of the air filter and with only the battery to hold it below, and it does hang loosely. Yum yum battery fumes!

Does anyone have a part number for the lower cabin air filter (07 C280 if that changes anything)? Or anyone have a spare they might have for sale? Also where does this thing pull air in from?

well there should be clips on the top that hold it against thr firewall. the filter is open towards the battery. the battery compartment actually has very good airflow seperate from the engine compartment. i am sure someone has a pic somewhere if i had my car i would post one gl

Thanks, thats kind of what I was afraid of. In which case I'll be needing the part number for the cabin filter housing because my bottom clips are all broken, and cannot hold the filter in place.

So does anything at all attach to the screw standoffs on the filter?
