Check engine light - P0304 and P0450 error codes
My 2001 C240 lost power while starting a drive and the check engine light came on (very cold weather of -20 C!). I connected my OBD2 code reader and it came back with the following error codes:
Error Code: P0304 - misfire cylinder 4
Error Code: P0450 - evaporative emission system pressure sensor switch
What are recommendations on how to fix?
Should I just clear the code or take back to the dealer to investigate?
Thanks in advance.

Misfire likely plugs, wires or coilpack. Swap wires & coilpack to another cylinder. If misfire moves to that cylinder you know what to replace.
P0450 = Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor Malfunction - this should not effect performance - check fuel cap is on properly - have it sorted at your next service

Thanks Glyn. Good news, I tried it, erased the error code, and things are working normal again. The check engine warning is gone. That OBD II reader is fantastic.
Nice picture from South Africa. Looking forward to summer...
