c230 Sport coupe - CHICK CAR?
JK if you are that insecure about your car then yes it is. heck i would drive a pink car if i had to and would stick up for it if i had to unless it was a vw bug (new one)
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I recently bought a 2003 c230 sport coupe (2 door) in magma red. I am a 21 year old straight male and I have suddenly become very concerned that my vehicle is a complete and utter chick car. I (and hopefully all other male c230 coupe owners on this forum) won't stand for this.
Websites like the one below aren't making me feel any better:

Is this true/not true your opinion?
I will admit, certain colors wil be worse. Since my color is basically a ferrari red, I think it looks pretty darn good. Ultimately, despite one expensive repair (transmission leak) I REALLY like the car. Good gas mileage. I am getting around 9.5L/100km.

They totally missed the bulls eye on that one. Most of those cars are man cars, like the RSX. All MB cars are Unisex and the suburban, is far from fem in my book. And no where on that list is the VW New Beetle, which is now probably the most female owned car in modern times. Askmen.com is so out of touch.com.

Anyway forget it...welcome to the forum!
Getting projector headlights for the coupe (theyre called Bixenons or Bix on here) is next to impossible because they are very rare. When they do come up for sale they are very expensive (I know someone in Toronto selling them for CAD$2000)
Sedan and coupe headlights are shaped differently and are not interchangeable. Getting clear headlights for the coupe (transparent, clear lens) is also pretty difficult and is also expensive. I know someone locally selling for CAD$1200.
No, the CLC203 is not a chicks car if a man drives it. I prefer the sedan of course.
"All Merc C-Class cars project the same message: The driver couldn’t afford the E-Class."
- First of all, what does this have to do with the article being about 'chicks' cars? More like prejudice against posers IMO.
- Second, the way my car was optioned, it was just shy of a few thousand of the E-Class E200 Kompressor. Perhaps there are those people out there who prefer a feature packed C over an entry level E.
- Thirdly, does it mean that those who drive an E class project the message they couldn't afford the S? Well that's right, I personally couldn't financially justify an E or S class. But I still prefer an 'entry level' Benz than a feature packed Toyota. I can say to myself; I drive a Benz and at my age, worked hard for it. Oh, and if I did get a pile of money thrown at me, of course I'd be an a AMG S-Class. How many Mazda drivers wish they could drive a C class?
My point is; the argument is mute. EVERYONE, including the editor, wants something better than we can have. Why do you think they sell $25,000 belt buckles to the mega rich?
To demonstrate by illustration why the whole article is mute;
THIS IS A CHICKS CAR:

No but in all seriousness, there are true chik cars like the VW Beetle, and there are cars that chiks find hot. Most chiks dont think like guys and dont necessarily think an aston martin is hotter than a CL203 so there you go. ISSUE RESOLVED. Now lets ban the nooob who started this and go about or lives.
I had to post again when I found this:
