KW Variant 2 coilover issue

Anyone have any ideas on what's going on. I have an 06 c230 sport and got some KW variant 2 coilovers installed but when I try to lower the car, the coilover hits the inner wheel. The rears are fine but the front is where I'm having problem. Right now I'm running iforged wheels 19x8.5 in the front with 225/35/19 Yokohama S drives. I believe the offset on the wheels are 35. My local shop test fitted some 10mm spacers but he wasn't able to drop the car to the height I want. On a 10mm spacer I have about 1 1/2" gap between the tire and the fender. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry no pictures at the moment. The spacers isn't the issue. It's the coilovers itself. Spacers helped lower the car a little bit but not that much and that's with a 10mm.

Ray, if i read correctly here, the 10MM spacer is still not pushing the inner lip of the wheel out past the coilover perch? So, you can only lower perch to the top of the wheel/tire? If thats the case, then a bigger spacer or different offset wheel. If they are 35 ET, then a 10 MM spacer should essentially push that out to a 25..which should clear the coilover perch. Are you sure on the offset?

pics will help explain better i have KW v2 and a few other people on here.. the only problem with the KW is that with 18+ wheels they touch the Front Springs when you try to lower the car too low! spacer may help! am running 3mm spacers on aftermarket wheels but with my stock 18" they work without spacers..

common problem. I've noticed Yokohamas run a tad wider/squared sidewalls compared to other tires making it more prone to rub the perch/spindle. Not really dump friendly tires. I am currently running +24 up front on 19x8.5's about one finger gap on 235/35/19 Toyo T1r's. You may also want to look into adjusting alignment settings. Usually when lowering the car the car has slight neg camber where the top of the wheel sits close. May not increase clearance by much but every little bit helps

Recently got an alignment so I'm gonna see if that fixes the issue..another option is was given to fix this issue was to change the inner barrel on my front wheels a 1/2 size smaller..can anyone confirm is that would solve the issue? Iforged is charging around $300 a wheel to get that done.

Are w209 and w203 the same or similar offset..my wheels were made for a w209 but when I called iforged they said the wheels would fit my car.

The W203 and W209 use the same offset and are interchangable given that both cars are using the stock struts. W209 owners running KW's and higher offset rims also run into this issue as well.

If you rebarrel that will give you more clearance probably about 1/4 inch if you still run the 10mm spacer, but can't confirm it will solve since I would need to see the car in person.
