Recently installed new Wedge Bulbs. I went with PIAA (19172 Extreme White) it's amazing. You can't really tell how they look in the pic. It has a unique color to it. It as if it's glowing.
Well worth the 15 bucks.
I ordered the Fogs too (60 dollars) (19616 Xtreme White Plus with XTRA Technology)
I think these bulbs are well worth the money.

Gun metal or satin finish rims

I've just ordered ST4 wheels in silver. Was wondering if anyone has any pics of them in satin finish on the car. I'm stuck again on the satin.

Yea this one member has the gun metal rims on a pewter sedan. i've saved his pic bc i too was looking at those rims. I still dont know what rims i want; i find the pewter color very hard to match up with rims.

Thanks for the pic. They actually compliment the color of that car. They dont seem to be as popular as the silver ones which is kind of good. Just not sure how it would look on silver. I've seen them on a black car and I think black rims wouldve looked better on it IMO.

That actually looks pretty good if it weren't for the pixelation haha. Needed a second glance after you mentioned it was paint!

LOL. Well here's one of an E class with the same rims. No Paint edit this time.

Hmm...I think I like the silver finish. Glad that's what I chose. Should be getting it tomorrow.

Good question. Not sure how much the stock sport wheel weigh. Hope there isn't that big of a difference.

I guess 31 lbs isn't that bad. That's pretty average isn't it?
Based on other 17" wheels i say maybe 20 -23 lbs

Here's mine finally after almost 2 years being a member. 2 of my stock rims got damaged from a pothole so I decided to upgrade. I've always liked the AMG rims but couldn't really afford them. Bremma's are discontinued so I decided to get ST4's silver from Tirerack. 19'sx8.5 fronts, 19x9.5 rears with Yokohamas S drive tires. Good choice on tires for me. Pretty quiet and good road grip. My cars not very original I know but here in the Bay Area I haven't really seen much with my same setup...so far.

Do you guys think I need to lower it? I'm thinking of keeping it like this for now.

if you go with h&r springs, your rears will be lowered and maybe tucked very little...the fronts will lower just a little..

if you go with coilovers, you can slam that sucker!

That's how it came. I've always noticed mine was a tad lower than most Kompressors I've seen. Lucky me i guess.

I actually like the back height. But I think the front could use maybe 1/2 inch drop at most. The ride is not as bouncy as I suspected. Lowering springs might make it bouncier?

no bro...the ride is only bouncy on lowering springs IF you cut too much of it...it messes up the spring rates...

honestly, you wont get too much drop from lowering springs on the front...maybe cutting 1/2 coil of h&r's will drop a bit more...
