Official C-Class Picture Thread
thank you ... also de-badged at the back, so it's not obvious what is under the hood
It's a 2005 (September) CL203 facelift model, 3.5 ltr v6 ..... and yes, it can get me into trouble pretty swiftly
.... pulls really well from about 70, which is something i'm just not used to in my previous cars, and i've said for a long time now, stuff the 4 cylinder things, what i get next (ie this time) will have a minimum of 6 cylinders and would be a V configuration
.... although this one is a full auto right now (no paddle shift yet) i am surprised how quickly i have slipped into lazy mode and gotten used to the auto
Other than a couple of missing options i would have liked... Heated seats, panoramic roof, paddle shift, it is actually fairly well spec'd and for what i paid was a good deal
.... it rolled off the production line with bi-xenons, parktronic, rear side airbags, COMAND NAV, AUX input in glovebox, along with Multi-CD changer, Phone Prep with antenna + bluetooth, 7-speed automatic transmission, 17" Alloys, Illuminated vanity mirrors in the sun visors (ok, stop giggling, it was spec'd by a woman!) Thermotronic Digital Intelligent AC with charcoal filter, dark aluminium trim, Windscreen wiper with rain sensor, Sports suspension, Electrically folding exterior mirrors, Headlight cleaning system, Cornering light function, Automatically dimming int.and ext.mirrors (need to do the passenger side though, as it wasn't done originally) ... all fitted from new
I'll be retro fitting the paddle shift option shortly, and as soon as i can source the parts, i want heating in the front seats !! they are dam cold without lol, but it may be easier to source replacement seats than to try and retro fit the heating to these, if i get half a chance i will also have memory seats and steering column, but unless i can find a donor vehicle to cough up all the wiring looms etc that might be a bit hard to sort out.
It will be going for some COMAND updates shortly as well, to have things like auto folding mirrors, flat tyre warning, UK mode delete and some other tweaks enabled
- probably when i have the paddle shift done.18" rims are a likely upgrade too when the current tyres wear down, then i'll use these 17's for winter tyres

..... for one of those, i'd do...... errr, anything ! lol
I'll try and get some pics for you in the next few days, right now, i have a 2 tone paint job, there's that much mud on the roads where i travel to work it's literally a different colour on the lower half
... need to get me some of those optional mud flaps front and back (and they actually look quite good on the stock bumpers)When i started looking for a C-Class Coupe, i setup searches on autotrader, and it was set to disregarded every other version except the C350
....... took me a while to find one i liked, this was the second one, the other was a 2006 Sport and had most of the options too, but had the panoramic roof, heated seats full electric memory seats steering column, no rear side airbags, only standard AC and was like 3 grand more :P (and i was too slow in going to look at it !)
