2006 C230 Sport
Hi all, been lurking on here for troubleshooting purposes for about a year, never thought my Benz would be anything other than a stock daily, but im slowly contemplating changing that.
Despite my screen name, I ended up purchasing an 06 c230 sport
So far only k&n drop in filters, 35% tints,

Lol that picture with the new C coupe was straight up lucky. Took about four shots with different settings on my camera and when I reviewed later, it just happened that the C coupe was in it haha.

not hard at all. there premade mounting holes on the lip but I added some extra ones. I drilled holes through and put bolts with nuts on instead of screws so they don't fall off. I'm pretty low so if I scrap it wont knock it loose.

Be careful with 225/40 on front with the 18x9 if you go to low it'll rub the suspension and when you turn its rub the fender liner covering the windshield washer fluid and eventually rip it off. Happened to me when I wasn't too low on the liner had to do 215/40 so it wouldn't rub anything

Will keep my eye out. Haven't had an issue so far and have been running 225/40's for quite a while. My front fender liner has already been pulled out so no worries there. Suspension is the front is maxed out with no issues on an 18x8.5 et 20 so we will see if that extra 8 mm causes any issues. Only real worry is it rubbing the fender itself.

your car looks great with the aero! how can you rebuild the wheels to 3 piece? you know I allready had one set, but I just had 9.75 because I "extruded" the aluminium..but they were 2 piece..

Company called VR wheels rebuilds them to 3-pc (a little bit of machining of the centers, then they use some other lips and barrels)

Anyone have a silver C with a black roof vinyl on it? Was thinking about doing it, but would like to know what it looks like first.
Thx
