A couple "recent" pics of my W203. 2003 C230K with ~192,000 miles. This first first picture is from when I last hand washed her last week. Paint looks pretty good for having nearly 200,000 miles on it.
The picture below is from a storm chase (I'm a meteorologist ) during May 2016 in SW Kansas, USA. The tornado in the background was located about 10 miles away at the time and was later rated EF3.
Did you replace timing chain during those 192k miles or have any timing related issues?
Wow! That looks awesome!! Could you post some more pictures? From the sides maybe, and from a shorter distance?
Thanks and congratulations!
Side pic, its on lowest setting, 10mm spacers front and rear, its raked, not sure if I should remove rear spring adjusters to lower the rear half an inch more, cant go any lower on the adjustment.
looks good but i would lower the back more but still have the raked look to it
Yes I'm going to remove rear spring adjusters and fit 245 40r17 tyres instead of the 225 45r17 that are currently on it, Will post pics when done, cheers

D'you think with those tyres the rear end will be lower?
Because the front wheels touched the front shocks they would not go back on. 10mm is the minimum spacer you can have with pro sport coilovers. Had tracking done today and car drives amazing. Would recommend them to any w203 owners. Handling is transformed. Go kart like almost. Next mod is sport brakes. Then wheel refurbishment, then pulley and remap. Should be 200bhp after that. Then a trip to the nurburgring ☺

The thing is: those rims are OEM, and they don't include spacers originally, do they? Is the suspension what made them necessary?
I insist on this because i bought a set of 17" Borbet A rims and i don't know if i will have to buy spacers or not.

BTW, i can't stop looking at your car
Yes the suspension is the reason I needed spacers, I took the rear adjusters out, this is the result
You may be okay with aftermarket rims, but if you do need spacer get hub centric ones

Apologies for the late response to this question, but this car has the original factory timing chain. It currently has 195,000 miles on it and I've never had any timing issues with it.
