nah man, they are just custom. Picked up extra fenders and a hood at the junkyard and had my bodyshop mess with them hehe. He will do the fenders for 800 bux with vents if you want.

Plus he'll add in a few extra delays and crappy service for free.

OK I finally went and saw her today . I had to touch her because this paint color looks like it's wet !!! Some pictures were with flash to offset the sun but all in all you can tell the diference. Some pictures look darker but the real color is the bright red.

I already ordered the hood badge, rear lip spoiler, clear side lens, and a few other things I'll order tomorrow like rims, tires, etc. after I go pick her up. I didn't bring her home with me today because I didn't have someone to bring my truck home .

The last picture is the grill I'm going to install in a couple of weeks when I recieve it. Notice the REAL BIG STAR ? I LIKE IT !!!

In a couple of weeks when I install everything, I'll repost some better pictures with everything done . There wasn't too much space at the dealer.

Enjoy !!

MAGNIFICENT! The wax job looks great under that lighting.

Citron (or Drew?) is right, amber sidemarkers look particularly weird on a red colored car. They don't look too bad on black or white, but I would have to say clear sidemarkers would be a good, cheap, first mod.

Now you mentioned you ordered a rear deck lid spoiler, is that right? From the dealer? Or elsewhere? How much?

Where is that grille picture from? That doesn't look like a grille installed on a C because of the way the hood surrounds it completely...maybe it's a CL or CLK? The way the Expression grille has that fiberglass bottom piece, it almost looks that way, but you can see where it is actually separated from the hood.

I had to touch the car to see if it was wet ! It's a great wax job and I have to remember to ask them what brand they use. But what lighting are you talking about ? That's just sunlight, those cars are for delivery that day and they're just sitting there under a hot tin roof.

The clear side markers were won on EBAY last night and should be here by the end of next week as should the flat hood badge.

The rear lid is a secret until it's painted and installed, then when you can see it, I'll tell you where it's from.

That's another secret until I get it installed, then I promise I'll tell you where it's from.

I don't want to jinx my mods , since they are going to be so little.

I think that was a very nice way of saying what I felt about his little secrets. All the help he has been given......I didn't know this was a mod competition.. But so be it......

You are EXTREMELY correct, I have received a whole mess of information for which I am VERY grateful, but being a practicing Catholic, I'm used to the guilt trip (43 y/o) and it won't work !

Some thing else I've learned here is that , you know what ? Life is too short, It's a lip spoiler from Formymercedes. I was going to buy the Lorinser but Gerry sells his painted already to match my car's color so I went with his.

The grill wasn't for you guys , it was actually to try to catch a few wannabe's that think they know everything. I wanted to see if they told me it looked too cheap or fake or something like that.

It's actually a CLK that was parked close to mine so I went and took a picture of it. Gerry said it should look like that one because he's using the 6.5 inch Star and that's the same one the CLK uses. He also said it would have 4 slats like this one and 8 mounting points, so let's see what happens.

AGAIN, I thank you guys and everyone else who has patiently and sometimes not so patiently, helped me learn a little more about my new car.
