i was going to mount it up under the glove box, but i decided against it for the time being.
Reasoning was that there are 4 heater vents that run through the plastic cover. Mounting the DVD would have blocked a minimum of 2 heating vents.
Also i feared the extra heat or AC changes would/could destroy the unit. Another reason was that the plastic cover is very "flimsey" and i would have had to have made a support somehow.
Plus, I held it up there, and anyone with large feet would still end up kicking it, but it just would not be noticable.
I did wire enough wire, in case I change my mind, i so then i would just have to move the brackets with out any issues.

My First Benz...
Just picked up my first Mercedes last night...
It's a 2005 C230 Kompressor Sports Sedan:
White with Grey leather, automatic, heated power seats, power steering column/mirrors, sunroof package and 6-disk CD for $31,580.
Drove it off the lot with only 35 miles on it!!

Nice pics man, but you better be careful with those wheels. If I am not mistaken the bolt size that those wheels are designed for (those found on the SL) are not the same for the C class sedan. I know cause I tried to run 19 inch AMG SL wheels on mine and with the thought of a wheel coming off at 90-100mph I decided to trade them in for wheels that fit the car.
