How do I replace this bulb? Pic inside
It burnt out (when I hit some snow a little rough).
I have the bulbs, what's the best approach?
I am also getting the warning/indicator in the HUD. Thank you!

On the C-class-- that whole assembly pops out. Take a tape covered putty knife and kind off push back and out on the lense assembly and it will pop out. Just be careful not to scratch your paint. Once, the lense assembly is out, the bulb pulls out from there. It's a 5watt wedge bulb. Often labeled "164"

That's it? Great! Any pics of it 'out' so I can see what kind of lip/etc I have to work with?
I was feeling from under the hood/bumper and getting a little concerned!
What holds it in? It's really cold out, are their plastic tongues I should worry about? Maybe put it in the heated garage (parents house) for a few hours before doing this?
Thank you glocati!

Its held in by the assembly itself which has a clip/clamp of sorts that holds it in the bumper. Super easy to remove....yeh I would suggest a heated garage to avoid the risk of rushing things because of the cold and damaging your paint.
These lights are called the marker lights. Just search for marker lights and you'll find tons of threads with suggestions on precautions to be taken while removing these, to avoid any further problems, like scratches etc.

some MB models have opening within the wheel well liner, from which to pop
your finger or screwdriver into...to help unlatch the tab of the lens assembly.
i like that design as it minimizes potential scratches to the outside, metal
surface of the car

You can do it both ways. You can pop out the lens or do what raymond suggested. You can pull back the inner fender line twist the harness out and replace the bulb and twist it back.
