Would be awesome to be able to remove it though. I have it and I hate it, it's useless pic of crap. I'm seriously thinking to mod it somehow.

Why?

Not happy with the wipe repeat timing? Especially with all the condensation we get in ON...Id think it would be a nice option to have...

Mine works fine. If it's giving you issues, make sure your wiper blades are in good condition. Streaky blades will freak it out.

They'll be off. Why do you want to unplug it?

In my case they behave as they are conected to speed sensor rather than rain sensor.

I have this feature....I thought it was standard.

basically if my wiper is set at level 3 (fastest), when I almost come to a stop, the wipers run at level 2 (medium). If its set to level 2 and I almost come to a stop, it runs at level 1 (intermittent). It its set to level 1 and I almost come to a stop, nothing changes.

Its an awesome feature!

You could also try a chemical wash for your windscreen. Glyn recommended pouring coca-cola, but only if you can find the kind with real sugar - corn syrup is stickier and may collect somewhere and draw bugs.

Hadn't thought of that, but it should. There's a restaurant that sells Mexican coke here.

I dont think it has anything to do with the rain sensor...because I dont have that option.

If you dont have it and want it, Im pretty sure it will involve modifying the cars code using STAR.

The rain sensing wipers in my 03 Coupe came with the Pano roof option. I love it. It goes brain dead on occasion and starts wiping when the sun is out. It works perfectly 99% of the time.

Mine will start wiping if it catches the sun and there's glare, but it's still miles ahead of the sensing on my CLK.
