So I stepped up from my old car (2003 cobra) to a Benz. It's obviously no where near as fast, but in a different class of its own. I have been searching the site and looking for common problems, mods, recommendations. So far im loving the Mercedes and look forward to being a contributing member to the forum. Pics to come when it stops raining. I got a 06 with 47,000 miles in white (not sure the color code?) black interior, has the 7 speed automatic, rear shade, fold down rear seats, leather, and the 6 disk.
Any recommendations on body mods? Id like to keep it OEM from other MB models if possible.

Welcome to the forum.
You're lucky that you got the black interior. The ash interior is hard to maintain.
First mod that I would recommend is HID (if you already don't have Bi-Xenon).

Yeah I was looking at the C class picture thread and noticed the flat hood ornament + the grill with the star which I really like. But my google-ing has turned up empty. Where can I get those 2 pieces? Also whats the dovetail like spoiler on the rear from? I *think* the c32? Any links on that as well?
The mustang world had what seemed like millions of sites for every part imaginable, the MB doesn't seem to offer as much. Which is expected, but whose the go-to site for MB parts?

The spoiler from the 07s would be a nice upgrade. Depending on preference, so would the rims from the 07. Definitely Bi-X if that's in your budget. Otherwise, the car can't get much better looking. I don't actually like the in-grille star so many people put. The W203 doesn't have a broad enough front end to support it and ends up looking cross-eyed, IMO. To each his own, though. I quite like the standing star on the hood.

I really like this spoiler.

Are most of them just 'stick ons' like this one? Hows the fitment?

i got mine for around 35. it's pretty simple. there's a clip underneath the hood that you need to pry to loosen your star. flat badge totally just snaps on.
have the dealer do it for you the installed mine for free since it took less then 2 mins to do

Yeah the differences are hard to notice sometime. My car is the luxury body which i like alot but the sport/c32 looks amazing. also i love the c7 style rims more than any aftermarket rims. One day soon i will have either a sport suspension or coilovers on my car along with amg front and rear along with c7 rims. i just bought new tires for my 16's so it will be 40-50k before i have to buy new rims lol.

Welcome - your car looks sharp!
Although I must say, I have the ash interior (Black on Ash) and I wouldn't trade it for the dark interior for anything. Hard to clean, yes, but it looks just incredible.
Keep the mods classy.
