Tires?
Anyone have any idea how wide I can go for tires without rolling or cutting the fenders? And/or how wide after cutting the fenders?

2002 S/C Alabaster White C240
right now it's got 225/40r/17s on the front and 235/40r/17s on the rear. eventually I wanna put 18" Volk or Work wheels on it, I'm just wondering how much rubber I can put down when I get to that point.

If you're going to get new wheels, I would just look to get 235/40/18's mounted on 18x8.5" wheels up front and 265/30/18's mounted on 18x9.5" wheels in the back.

It all depends on the offset and tire. For example I had 265/30 by Pirelli and my offset was 38 and I was getting tire rub. Now I have 265/30 by Toyo again same 38 offset and I get no tire rub.

So simplify stuff some tires have thicker side walls and some don't so it all depends.

+1 to E1000's suggestion. You won't be able to squeeze much more rubber under your car than what he suggested, unless you run spacers.

Is that with or without cut fenders? Car Nutz in Bellevue is gonna cut 'em as soon as I get the money. Currently my attorney is confiscating 99% of my income.
