Supercharger Boost- 32 lbs
I removed my Supercharger intake, without much surprise i wasnt getting any boost. The car's S/C whine was rediculously loud. My brother and I was trying to find a way to still have the boost and the sound at the same time. Soo, we wanted to see what we could do by just covering the tube up. We turned my car on and in idle i was already at 5lbs of psi... it dropped to 3 psi in reverse and when i shift to first i hit only about 2000 rpms when my boost gauge literally shot to 32+ psi and it blew off my S/C tube that my boost gauge was hooked into.. my car then died and i turned it off and checked our DIY clogging... it was fine.. :\ i then realized that it wasnt that it was the tube for my intake.. lol so any ideas that will allow me to continue at 12 psi and keep the sound?

I replaced everything back to standard after my tube jumped out lol. Tomorrow morning i can take some pics of the camaro.
With all the pieces removed do you have any idea why my engine sound is SOO much deeper?

white and whiter
and to OP, I think you have the boost gauge connected to the wrong place or your boost gauge does not adjust to atmospheric pressure. any supercharged/turbocharged engine should have a vacuum (neg pressure) when idling.

I wasn't aware these engines had that much boost stock.
Linden, ASP's pulley is a crank pulley. The larger diameter crank pulley results in more boost. Larger crank pulley diameter = effect of smaller s/c pulley diameter.

Yes, mine shows vacuum, before we sealed that hole i get like .5 vacuum and -1 when first throttle then it goes up till 3.5rpm and it stops rising, then it will go a little higher when i hit 5 My boost gauge works np
