Nice car!!
Glad I took my AMG Badge off my car before the bashing began. More importantly, I'm glad I did before making the AMG Poser Thread. Once you make that you're doomed done son. I actually went with the clean shaved look, de-badged everything.
Believe it or not, being a Poser in Japan is a good thing. These forums would have a field day if I posted all the pictures of mislabeled Mercedes and BMW's.
FYI: The AMG Police posted your car for everyone to see on the AMG Poser Thread.

white and whiter
People put Carlsson body kits on their car and not touch the engine but rock the Carlsson sign.
Same goes with AMG, I mean the guy has almost everything AMG except engine and tranny and some suspension parts. I know it sounds wierd but all you guys who have Brabus, Lorinser and Carlsson body kits technically can't put those badges (i'm not here picking on individuals)

BUT there's one thing I didn't do. I didn't badge it as a CK32 which is what the Carlsson car with engine replacement is called. However I did put on the Carlsson badge because having "C32 AMG" on the back looks stupid as hell with the Carlsson kit.
like i've always said, he can slap on AMG badge all he want as long as there's no 32/55/63/65 stupid looking badge on the other side. lol but the JBspeed badge looks kinda fake tho. lol

LOL...I have a Carlsson bodykit along with shifter, pedals (including dead pedals), front/rear emblem, side badge, trunk badge, and exhaust. had the wheels too. the only none authentic is the spoiler in CF.

I get what you mean about the phoney badge and don't take it personal I wasn't intending on your car I was talking about the members who just get the body kit and wheels and slap on a Lorinser, Carlsson, Brabus badge. Trust me i'm no angel myself but so aren't a lot of members here =
As long as people don't put that K8 badges or B55 badges, the badges that indicate engine swap/mod, like Frank said, having the Lorinser/Brabus/Carlsson badge is not a pose if you have the full body kit and wheels.
Just so you know most of us are hating, think of it as more of a warning that you always will be made fun of and that you are in fact posing, like many of us have said though, it is your car so do what you like, but you've been warned

I respect that you are taking the time to post these DIY's but putting an AMG emblem is too far. I have the same car year 2006 in Mars Red and while I'm installing similar modifications it will never be an AMG and neither will yours. An AMG is a hand-built engine; simply having a body style of a C55 or C32 doesn't make it one does it? No.
